We are seeking an experienced CAMHS Specialist to join our dynamic and evolving service. The Community CAMHS South Team supports Children, Young People, and their families/carers with their emotional and mental health needs on a continuum of mild to severe.
Main Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively as part of the Community CAMHS South Team providing specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.
- Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users, co-facilitate group work, and liaise with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team within the Community CAMHS.
- Experience of working with CYP and their families/carers presenting with complex trauma and PTSD.
- Experience of working with CYP with emotional and mental health difficulties and disorders.
- Experience in assessing and managing risk.
- Ability to manage own caseload and time and to work under pressure.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of working in community settings.
- Experience of working with refugees and asylum seekers.
- Experience of providing training to staff.
