About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Handler to join our team in Croydon. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing the entire claims portfolio for a key client, from small losses to complex and high-value losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the claims process end-to-end, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of claims
  • Handle incoming phone calls and post related to claims, providing accurate and timely information to clients
  • Advise clients on the claims process and ensure they are kept informed throughout
  • Monitor new claims to ensure they are handled within service level agreements and manage associated reports and diaries
  • Collaborate with the Claims Manager to ensure full compliance with internal standards and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Motor Claims Handler, dealing with commercial and/or corporate clients
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with excellent communication abilities
  • Customer-focused approach and ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
