Job Description

BRC is seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team.

Salary: £13.20 per hour, estimated annual salary: £27,456

About the Role

This role involves supporting service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey from initial intake to ongoing support.

  • Conduct thorough screening, assessments, and develop personalized recovery plans for onward referral as needed.
  • Promote harm reduction strategies to minimize drug and alcohol-related harm among service users and the broader community.
Requirements
  1. A valid DBS certificate within the last 12 months (must provide original copy).
  2. Previous experience working with individuals affected by substance misuse issues.
