Office Angels is seeking a skilled Financial Recovery Specialist to join their team in Paddock Wood. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing consumer accounts in arrears, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring the efficient recovery of debts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary package of around £30,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 25 days' holiday and a company pension scheme after six months.

About the Role:

  • Proactively contacting customers in arrears via phone, email, or letter to recover missed payments on loans.
  • Establishing and managing repayment agreements with debt collection agencies and debt counsellors.
  • Referring unpaid debts to an appointed legal advisory service and overseeing the recovery process.
  • Preparing monthly debt reports for the Finance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Success Manager to enhance the company's credit-check system.
  • Recording and resolving any debt-related complaints.
