**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at a secondary school in Wandsworth. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the school's IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing classroom support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support the IT Network Manager in maintaining and developing the school's IT infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Admin Console.
* Manage access to resources and ensure security compliance, including data protection and GDPR.
* Provide classroom support, ensuring ICT equipment is available and operational for lessons and events.
* Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment installations and repairs.
* Monitor backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
**Requirements:**
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft client and server systems, networking, virtualisation (preferably VMware), and other relevant technologies.
* Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and content filtering systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
* Knowledge of Apple software, Google Admin Console, and BYOD management is desirable.
