We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and Speech and Language (SP&L) needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 4-18 with SEN, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for providing a stimulating and safe learning environment, delivering specialist interventions, and liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Deliver specialist interventions
  • Liaise with the school's therapists

  • Experience of supporting children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
