Special Needs Support Specialist

Empowering Learning is seeking an experienced professional to provide support to students with special needs in a Wakefield-based Alternative Provision. As a Special Needs Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering students to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, including those with autism. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, helping them with daily tasks, and collaborating with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
With a salary of £28,500 per annum, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs.
- Assist students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement IEPs.
