Youth Counsellor Job Description

Location: Visyon Crewe base and outreach locations in Cheshire East

We are seeking a qualified youth counsellor to join our team in Crewe. As a Counsellor, you will work with children and young people, providing time-bound, outcome-focused interventions. You will also have experience of working with children under 11 using play and creative therapies.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families. Risk management and safeguarding are essential parts of this role, and you must be able to support and manage client risk, making referrals to other agencies when necessary.
