Classroom Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled Classroom Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students in various secondary schools across Crewe and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons, including preparing materials and resources
  • Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification and a minimum of 2 months' experience in relevant fields (e.g., sports coaching, youth work, drama/art workshops)
  • An ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and growth within the education sector
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £12-15 per hour. We offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for long-term employment, and training placements to begin a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.
