About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Residential Service in Swansea. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the staff team in providing person-centred care and support to our service users.
  • Advocate for the needs of our service users and ensure their rights are respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the service is run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they affect employees and service users.
