Investec, a Specialist Bank serving clients in the UK and South Africa, is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Continuity Manager to support the delivery of RAF project requirements.

This role will provide additional support to the existing team in implementing operational resilience and business continuity frameworks. To excel, you should have a strong understanding of operational risk management, business continuity planning, crisis management, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Operational Continuity in Resolution Frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

You will provide expert advice and oversight to business teams on policy implementation, framework, and minimum standards for operational resilience and business continuity.

Maintaining an expert understanding of regulatory matters related to Operational Resilience and Business Continuity, you will drive alignment as required by regulation and group objectives.

Facilitating the annual BCP & IBS testing cycle, you will set standards and expectations for quality and deadlines.

With excellent written and spoken presentation skills, experience in presenting and chairing at senior management forums is essential.

You must be able to influence decisions and actions of others, including internal business partners, external stakeholders, and senior management.

Demonstrable expertise in Operational Resilience Planning, stakeholder management, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements are crucial.

Our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote, promoting a collaborative and agile culture.
