The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) is a membership charity with a rich history and a unique portfolio of event spaces. Our headquarters, located in the heart of the city, offers a range of venues for hire, from contemporary conference rooms to a stunning 18th-century manor house and a 5-acre private Artillery Garden.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events across our estate, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage event spaces, including AV equipment, furniture, and decorations
- Coordinate logistics for events, including catering, audio-visual, and technical requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage event signage and branding
- Perform other duties as required to support the Operations Team
Requirements
- Previous experience in event operations or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
