Document Controller Opportunity in Civil Engineering

BAM Nuttall, a leading industry leader, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on large civil engineering projects. This role will be based in Scotland, near Inverness-shire and along the Moray coast.

We offer a competitive £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a wide range of benefits, including a flexible working policy, living away allowance, and 26 days holiday.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE), such as BIM360, Aconex, or ViewPoint for Projects. Strong knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also essential.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects that will enable future renewable developments across Scotland. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining computer and paper-based document filing systems, reviewing and distributing documents, and processing responses.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain document filing systems
  • Review and distribute documents
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Process responses to documents
  • Chase responses where required
  • Administer requests for information
  • Conduct periodic archiving

  • Experience: Working within a CDE and general administration support roles
  • Knowledge: Operating IT systems, including Microsoft Office suite
