Job Title: Clinical Director

We are seeking an experienced Nurse or registered healthcare professional to lead our clinical teams as Clinical Director. This role involves deputising for the Hospital Director in their absence, supporting and overseeing the clinical structure, and directly line managing Ward Managers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all clinical governance processes and chair the hospital's Clinical Governance Group
  • Support and develop clinical teams to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Play a key role in the senior management team, contributing to strategic decision-making
Requirements:

This position would suit an experienced Ward Manager looking to take their next step in their clinical leadership career. You will need:

  • Previous clinical experience combined with experience as a clinical leader
  • Sound clinical, professional, and values-led judgement
  • Able to work effectively across departments, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
About the Role:

This is a fast-paced role that requires tackling multiple challenges simultaneously. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for making decisions that drive positive outcomes for patients, employees, and the organisation. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new strategies, driving improvements in clinical practice and patient care.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
