Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a Healthcare Associate to join our team at Itvjob in Papanui, Canterbury, New Zealand. This permanent full-time position involves assisting the medical and nursing teams in clinical and medical administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Performing cleaning and sterilization procedures on medical equipment to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  2. Providing assistance during minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a doctor.
  3. Supporting patient care activities, including performing tasks such as ECG and phlebotomy under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience or certification as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa with no restrictions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
