Mental Health Recovery Practitioner

We are seeking a proactive mental health recovery practitioner with leadership skills to join our supported living service in North Tyneside. As a key member of our team, you will work with service users, their families, and other agencies to assess needs and plan a successful transition into the service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess service user needs and develop outcome-based support plans
- Work with service users to promote independence, tenancy sustainment, and positive risk management
- Collaborate with community partners and lead on partnership working with statutory mental health services and voluntary agencies
- Ensure service delivery is effective and in accordance with assessed needs, contract requirements, and quality standards
- Line manage and deploy the staff team, and represent the organisation to referrers and potential service users
- Relevant experience of working with people with mental health needs within a person-centred, recovery-focused framework
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health needs/conditions, recovery principles, and helpful interventions
- Skills in promoting independence, tenancy sustainment, and positive risk management
- Ability to work collaboratively with service users, families, and other agencies
- Commitment to equality and diversity, and community asset-based approaches
- Full training and opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care
