We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Assistant Practitioner to join our team in a prison setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering therapeutic interventions to prisoners with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of group and individual therapeutic sessions to prisoners
  • Contribute to the assessment and planning of prisoner care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with prisoners, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making
  • Assist in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs and interventions

Requirements:

  • Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or related field
  • Experience working with Service Users with mental health needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships
  • Knowledge of CPA process and risk assessment
