This full-time role, consisting of 40 hours per week, is centered within a specialist service dedicated to supporting children with emotional behavioural difficulties. As a Senior Residential Children's Worker, you will form part of a dedicated team delivering person-centred care and support to young people in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Attending regular staff meetings and supervisions to foster effective communication and teamwork.
  • Exercising accountability for decisions made regarding the welfare of young people and staff during your shifts, ensuring their safety and security.
  • Collaborating with the Manager to address staffing matters and maintain a stable and supportive work environment.
  • Ensuring all staff members remain up-to-date with procedural changes.
  • Providing expert support in developing person-centred support plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Identifying and reporting concerns regarding the safety or well-being of vulnerable children.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and expertise.
  • Covering shifts at other locations when required.
  • Nurturing relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
