Therapeutic Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers and supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
About Pebbles CarePebbles Care is a leading provider of residential child care services in North England and Scotland. Our mission is to provide bespoke therapeutic care and education, empowering young people to unlock brighter futures.
We have 50 beautiful homes and two established schools, offering a unique opportunity for individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.
Responsibilities and RequirementsAs a Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers and supporting the Registered Manager
- Organising and planning shifts, including rotas and work schedules
- Providing supervision, guidance, and training to team members
- Working closely with families, communities, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of eighteen months experience working with Children and Young People
- A proven track record in team building and supervision
- Qualification to SCQF Level 7 (Scotland) or HNC or Level 3 in Residential Child Care (England)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise
