Child Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in St Helens. As a Child Care Specialist, you will be responsible for working with children in need and managing a caseload of 20-22 children.
About the Role
This is a 3-month locum opportunity that requires significant frontline experience in Children's Services. You will work closely with the local community to provide support to vulnerable children and families. Your duties will include complex cases, child protection, public law outline, and care proceedings. Additionally, you will be responsible for court work and managing your caseload efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree or equivalent in social work, current registration with Social Work England, and significant frontline experience in Children's Services as a Social Worker. Experience in child protection and court work is also essential.
