We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Assistant to join our team at Garswood Primary School and Nursery. This temporary position covers maternity leave, commencing in February 2025.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to a child with SEMH needs, delivering tailored activities and promoting positive behaviour.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Relevant qualifications such as L2 NVQ or above
- Experience as a Learning Assistant/Play Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The school offers a supportive environment and opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
