Primary Education Assistant

We are seeking a highly qualified and caring Primary Education Assistant - SEN to join our team at Garswood Primary School and Nursery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess excellent communication skills.
This role involves working 1:1 with a KS2 child during the morning and some lunchtime hours, providing individualized support and guidance. We prioritize building strong relationships with families and the school community, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported.
We take safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students very seriously, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure Certificate is mandatory for this position.
Suitable candidates can expect a salary range of approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on their level of experience.
