Job Description

We are seeking a driven and energetic Telesales Executive to support our business strategy by delivering on small commercial telephone sales targets, maximising sales opportunities from the current pipeline of small commercial prospects, and booking appointments for the sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to existing and potential clients, obtaining general insurance renewal dates and new quotations to pass to the sales team to quote.
  • Prospect new clients through outbound calls and positively impact Agency sales.
  • Review areas of success and develop best working practices across the new business development teams.
  • Produce accurate records for every customer interaction and contact, including regularly reviewing and updating data records.
  • Demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model in line with our values and ethos.
  • Build effective working relationships within the team and all relevant key contacts and teams.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with external legislation and regulation, internal compliance, and other procedures.
  • Support the business development team with campaigns and deliver upon required call volumes and converting leads into opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record in targeted telesales/sales role or appointment generator role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, and ability to effectively use NFU Mutual systems.
  • Good maths and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage workload and work under pressure.
  • Great team working and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Own transport and full UK driving licence.
