Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join their team in Preston, Lancashire.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a clinical area, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to education and training initiatives. As the successful candidate, you will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate education and clinical practices within the ward.
- Manage the clinical area in the absence of the manager.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Identify and contribute to staff training needs.
- Promote equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
- Clinical supervision experience.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Good computer skills.
- Experience in acute mental health services.
We offer a competitive salary range of £43,014 - £46,314 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including a £5,000 welcome bonus, disclosure check cost coverage, and opportunities for professional growth.
