Job Title: Head of IT and Cybersecurity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT and Cybersecurity to join our team at CPW. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our IT function and developing our cybersecurity strategy to ensure the protection of our business and our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of managing and implementing IT functions within a business. You will be responsible for leading our IT team, developing and implementing our IT strategy, and ensuring the security of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT team and develop and implement the IT strategy
  • Develop and manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and execute the overall IT and cybersecurity strategy
  • Manage and monitor all IT contracts and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect our business and clients
  • Provide training and coaching to the IT team and other staff members
  • Streamline the IT offering to ensure cohesion across all offices
  • Monitor the helpdesk operation and ensure prompt resolution of helpdesk tickets
  • Join the disaster recovery team and be the IT lead
  • Produce and collate IT reports as necessary
Requirements
  • Strong background in IT and cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing IT functions within a business
  • Strong technology experience and a solid understanding of support IT services within a business
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations
  • Strong market knowledge and evidence of utilising that knowledge to make changes with an IT function
  • Confidence to work with ambiguity, prioritise effectively, assess and manage risk and make decisions
