Multi-Sensory Learning Environment Specialist

Sutherland House School in Nottingham is committed to providing high-quality services for autistic children. We seek a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Therapy Assistant and Sensory Room Coordinator.
This position involves supporting therapists and coordinating sensory room activities to create engaging and effective learning experiences for our students. The ideal candidate will have experience with occupational therapy or speech and language therapy, as well as strong IT skills and software confidence.
The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team that values person-centred approaches and prioritizes making a positive impact on the lives of our students. Opportunities for growth and development are available through regular supervision, training, and protected CPD.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting therapists in their roles
- Coordinating sensory room activities
- Maintaining equipment and supplies
- Planning multi-sensory learning environments
- Leading sessions for pupils
Estimated annual salary: £27,500 - £33,000.
