We are looking for a highly skilled individual to support our nationwide team in aquatic ecology fieldwork, reporting, data analysis, and coordination. The role involves undertaking surveys in freshwaters, working with other environmental specialists, collecting and processing freshwater macroinvertebrate samples, and assisting with data entry, analysis, and processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting aquatic surveys in freshwaters
  • Working with other environmental specialists on important projects
  • Collecting and processing freshwater macroinvertebrate samples
  • Assisting with data entry, analysis, and processing

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to survey reports, ecological appraisals, and Environmental Impact Assessment documents, as well as liaising with clients and internal project managers.

Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification or higher in a relevant subject
  • Experience in aquatic ecology or a similar field
  • Knowledge of current environmental legislation, including the Water Framework Directive
  • Ability to travel to site

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career development and progression within our team.
