Housing Officer Role Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our team at Ingeus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting Service Users gain access to suitable accommodation.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with multiple partner agencies, including the Local Authority and Housing Strategy Teams, to achieve successful housing outcomes.
  • Support Service Users in accessing all available accommodation options.
  • Regular travel is required for this role, so access to transport is essential.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of the Justice System or Criminal Psychology, ideally gained through recent education or experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
