As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare in our integrated urgent care service environment. We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our professional team, providing outstanding patient care to all ages.
This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous clinician with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care within the Primary Care setting. You will be responsible for safely prescribing medication to complement treatment plans for a range of medical conditions.
About the Role
We operate the OOH urgent care service throughout Norfolk and Waveney, providing services to over 6 million patients. The successful candidate will work flexible shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends, with minimum 12 hours per week. You will also have access to additional enhancements for unsocial hours and bank holiday working, as well as NHS pension scheme benefits.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will hold a non-medical prescriber qualification (V300 or equivalent), a Physical Assessment course level 7 or above, a minor illness qualification, and experience with palliative and end-of-life care. They will also have a full manual driving licence and be able to pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is around £88 per hour. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will also receive additional enhancements for unsocial hours and bank holiday working, as well as NHS pension scheme benefits.
