SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at an Outstanding SEN School in Southport as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work with students with special educational needs, promoting their holistic development and providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a collaborative learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, parents, and external agencies to promote student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide valuable feedback to teaching staff.
  • Develop effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques to create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Curriculum to support students' learning and development.
  • Show enthusiasm and dedication to making a positive impact on children's education.

Requirements:

  • A minimum salary of 85-100 per day.
  • 8:30 am - 15:30 pm working hours.
  • All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
  • Your CV should cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, with all employment breaks explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview.

Salary: £85-100 per day.
