Child Safety Support Worker

In pursuit of our mission to champion happy homes, we are seeking a dedicated Child Safety Support Worker to join our team. This role will involve delivering high-quality support and accommodation to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. As the first point of contact for external enquiries, referrals, admissions, and resident services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication and effective support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure new residents feel welcome and informed about available support services and their responsibilities within the accommodation.
• Manage referrals, conduct risk assessments, and assign accommodations based on customer needs.
• Develop and maintain customer-focused safety plans and risk management strategies, maintaining accurate records.
• Identify potential risks or safeguarding issues and respond appropriately, documenting incidents accurately.
Requirements:
• Good standard of education (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable handling personal data in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and excellent time management skills.
• Full UK driving license and a vehicle suitable for business use required.
• DBS check necessary.
