About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Ripon Farm Services Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our customer base in the agricultural equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company in the sale of agricultural equipment to customers in a defined sales area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest products and services offered by the company and attend relevant sales training events.
  • Provide expert knowledge and advice to customers on the features and benefits of our equipment and services.
  • Conduct demonstrations and trials of new equipment to showcase its capabilities.
  • Execute delivery and follow-up procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the agricultural industry to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in equipment sales, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications, CRM systems, and sales tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading technology and brands.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel frequently to customer sites.
