Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Needs Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Complex Needs Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse learning needs, helping them overcome their unique challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to the child's needs, focusing on core subjects and developing their knowledge.
- Provide face-to-face support to children with Special Education Needs, including those with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD, in various settings such as homes, care homes, or local areas.
- Monitor progress, track student outcomes, and plan next steps to ensure continuous improvement.
- Employ behaviour strategies to maintain focus and engagement, ensuring children can access learning effectively.

- Experience working with students with complex needs in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
