LAC Tutor

Teaching Personnel provides educational support to local authorities across Derby and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking qualified educators to join our supply service, offering flexible and temporary teaching opportunities.

Applicants should have experience working with children who are:

• Permanently excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion
• Struggling with mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression
• Diagnosed with special needs, such as autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, physical, and medical conditions
• Looked After Children or those new to the county

Our tutors receive competitive pay rates of £20-25 per hour, plus an additional 12% towards National Insurance and Pension contributions.

• As a tutor, you will plan, prepare, deliver, and assess educational material for students up to functional skills or GCSE level, covering both maths and English

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
