Job Summary

The Governance Lead will work closely with the Head of Nursing and Quality to develop and implement quality governance processes within the Directorate. They will be responsible for ensuring that there is a comprehensive framework to monitor and improve the quality of care, and will work collaboratively with service users, carers, and staff to achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality governance processes within the Directorate
  • Work closely with the Head of Nursing and Quality to ensure that quality forms an integral part of the operational and strategic aims of the Directorate
  • Lead the Directorate in gathering evidence of compliance with CQC key lines of enquiry
  • Ensure that lessons from internal and external incidents, claims, complaints, and inquest verdicts analyses are learned and shared
