Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior clinical services director to join our North Directorate team on a six-month secondment. The role will support the directorate with a portfolio of services including Early Intervention in Psychosis, Community Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Hospital Liaison, and the development of Mental Health Together.

Main Duties

  • Deliver KMPT strategy by developing robust business plans, setting operational targets, and delivering activities within agreed budgets and standards.
  • Lead effective governance structures, roles, and responsibilities based on multi-disciplinary approaches with collaborative leadership and team working.
  • Work closely with place-based partners, including third-sector organisations, local authorities, acute trusts, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure mechanisms are in place for stakeholder involvement in service planning and delivery, culturally sensitive services, and fair access to services regardless of gender, sexuality, religion, culture, race, or disability.
  • Take a leadership role in trust-wide programmes as required.
  • Maintain a culture of financial control and awareness amongst services.
  • Represent the organisation in various forums, ensuring the Trust strategy aligns with system developments.

Role responsibility includes deputising for the Service Director and covering day-to-day management of all services within the directorate through clinical staff and managers as required.
