Events Marketing Manager - International B2B Conferences

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading B2B publishing and events brand as an Events Marketing Manager. As the successful candidate, you will take a lead role in expanding the reach and revenue of our global conferences during an exciting growth phase for the company.

You will lead audience acquisition and marketing communications for our portfolio of conferences and awards, optimising existing strategies and introducing new ideas to drive growth. With a strong focus on audience / delegate acquisition, you will develop and implement high-calibre, coordinated marketing campaigns for multiple conferences and awards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to maximise event visibility and registration
  • Utilising a mix of channels including email, social media, and content marketing to engage with delegates
  • Building and managing databases to keep data up to date and relevant for every campaign
  • Testing, measuring, and evaluating channels and tactics to improve results
  • Managing event websites to ensure they are user-friendly and optimised for conversion

Key skills and experience required include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B Events marketing experience, preferably with experience in conferences and awards
  • Strong focus on audience / delegate acquisition
  • Ideally experience working in the B2B financial, data, or market intelligence sectors
  • Experience devising or influencing events pricing strategies is beneficial
  • Strong experience managing marketing for multiple events simultaneously, with a track record of meeting or exceeding audience acquisition targets
