We are an innovative medical device company with a mission to improve transplantation outcomes worldwide. Our first product, the OrganOx metra NMP system, has been used in over 4,000 liver transplant operations globally. We seek a Materials Planning and Programme Manager to support our Production and Servicing operations.

Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Materials Planning and Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring high levels of material availability to internal and external customers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in MRP and ERP systems such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

Data Accuracy and System Support

  • Maintain high accuracy in SAP Item Master and planning data.
  • Build and update Bill of Materials (BoMs) for manufacturing components and servicing spares in alignment with approved configurations.

Production and Reporting

  • Plan and execute SAP Production Orders to support the manufacturing plan. Identify material shortages and raise concerns with the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics using software such as PowerBi or SAP analytics.
  • Create and manage a reporting system to ensure timely and accurate data delivery to relevant areas of the business.

Process Improvement

  • Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to ensure timely purchase orders.
  • Support organisational transformation projects and improve operational processes.
  • Provide SAP guidance and support, becoming a subject matter expert in the system.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role within the medical, manufacturing, or related sector.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in handling complex datasets.
  • Ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams, including Production, Purchasing, Servicing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Adaptability in a continuously evolving environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits include healthcare and retirement plans, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development.
