About the Opportunity:
The Hill College and Academy Trust is an Outstanding Specialist College offering life-changing learning opportunities to young people and adults with special education needs and/or disabilities. We have eight vibrant community-based College Centres across London and Surrey where committed specialist teams deliver a range of programmes to meet the needs of over 400 students.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designated curriculum areas delivery, ensuring safe and suitable equipment/materials, demonstrating safeguarding commitments, and managing/supervising team members effectively.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Education (CertEd) or equivalent teaching qualification, level 2 Maths and English qualifications or willingness to enroll in our internal functional skills course within the first year, recent outstanding/good teaching experience with students with special needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position comes with a competitive salary of £35,425 - £46,143 per annum, plus benefits, promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
