The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging Food Technology curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves fostering a dynamic and hands-on learning environment that encourages practical skills development, creativity, and a sound understanding of food science and nutrition.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Design and deliver captivating Food Technology lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
  • Create a stimulating classroom and kitchen environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Technology department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Food Technology education.

**Estimated Salary:** £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

**Requirements:** A Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and demonstrated experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level.
