About the Position

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and promote inclusion.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with teachers, developing and implementing effective strategies to support students' learning and promoting academic progress. To succeed in this position, you will require a strong commitment to supporting students' learning, a passion for working with young people, and previous experience in a similar setting. Additionally, having Enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor and track student progress.
  • Provide ongoing support to students, addressing any issues that may arise.
