We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to lead our SEND hub, providing tailored support to students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of Teaching Assistants to deliver targeted support and ensure that every child is supported in their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of Teaching Assistants within the SEND hub
  • Providing bespoke, high-quality support to children with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress
  • Supporting the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to parents and the senior leadership team
  • Creating a positive, nurturing environment that supports both the academic and emotional needs of SEND students
  • Assisting with behaviour management and promoting social inclusion

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 4 qualification as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent
  • Significant experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school setting
  • Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team of Teaching Assistants

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
