Account Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Elland, focusing on managing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise to develop tailored solutions, meeting unique customer needs while driving sales growth.
Our product range includes custom-designed, low-volume items tailored to individual client specifications.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive sales growth.
- Regularly assess existing client accounts for potential growth or improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on engineering change requests, ensuring stakeholders are informed of cost implications.
- Prepare and present technical and financial proposals during the quotation phase.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum HNC qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
Five years plus engineering sales experience, including tracking, planning, and forecasting, is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in converting solution-based opportunities into sales.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Circa £50,000 - £55,000 salary.
- Pension (5% employer contribution).
- Healthcare.
- Death in service.
- Standard working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-15:30.
