About the Role

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist will drive our employee relations processes, policies, and strategy across Ireland, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. This role will serve as a liaison between legal and business matters, supporting ER policy creation and providing guidance on risk mitigation.

This is a remote-working role with flexible time zones. You will report to the Global Employee Relations Lead and collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop strategies for responding to team member concerns and infusing ER into broader company practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop strategies to address team member concerns and integrate ER into broader company practices.
  • Implement employee relations best practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances.
  • Monitor risks, identify trends, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and address potential employee relations issues and develop preventive measures.
  • Partner with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leaders to develop and/or support projects.
  • Identify training needs for supervisors based on ER data and partner with Talent Development to develop and launch training.
  • Assist managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing policies and procedures for managing their employees.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources and employee relations principles, practices, and procedures required for Ireland and South Africa; additional knowledge in the United Kingdom is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data to inform sensible decision-making.
  • Experience with performance management and employee relations processes – mandatory in Ireland and South Africa, strongly preferred to also include the United Kingdom.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
