We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our client's team, providing care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders in a residential setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to create a nurturing environment, adhering to care plans and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional, physical, and therapeutic support to children and young people in a residential setting.
- Engage with children in daily activities, helping to develop life skills, personal care, and social interactions.
- Manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations using therapeutic techniques.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a children's residential care setting or similar.
- Experience working with children with emotional, behavioural, or special educational needs.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
