Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Wisbech

Salary: £25,500 - £26,000 (DOE) per annum plus sleep in allowance

Hours: 39 hours per week, including long days and sleep in shifts

We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our client's team, providing care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, physical, and therapeutic support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Engage with children in daily activities, helping to develop life skills, personal care, and social interactions.
  • Work as part of a team to create a nurturing environment, adhering to care plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations using therapeutic techniques.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a children's residential care setting or similar.
  • Experience working with children with emotional, behavioural, or special educational needs.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
