Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

About the Role

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing emotional, physical, and therapeutic support to children and young people in a residential setting. You will work closely with our team to create a nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes and helps our young people develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children and young people, helping them to develop life skills, personal care, and social interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and therapeutic environment that meets the needs of our young people.
  • Manage challenging behaviors and de-escalate situations using therapeutic techniques.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a children's residential care setting or similar.
  • Experience working with children with emotional, behavioral, or special educational needs.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
