Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team, providing care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, physical, and therapeutic support to children and young people.
  • Engage with children in daily activities, helping to develop life skills, personal care, and social interactions.
  • Work as part of a team to create a nurturing environment, adhering to care plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations using therapeutic techniques.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a children's residential care setting or similar.
  • Experience working with children with emotional, behavioural, or special educational needs.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
