Research Nurse in Diabetes

We are seeking an experienced research nurse to contribute to our multicentre studies in automated insulin delivery (closed loop systems) for adults with diabetes.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven track record in research nursing or a related field. A flexible approach to working hours is essential for this role.
Key tasks:- To assist in identifying patients suitable for clinical trials.
- To screen, recruit, and approach eligible study participants.
- To provide vital information and support to participants.
- To help with closed-loop device training for participants and professionals at collaborating sites.
- To perform venous blood sampling and cannulation when needed.
- To coordinate and conduct follow-up visits, either in-person or remotely.
- To maintain precise records of participant activities and collect study data as per the study protocol.
- To participate in team meetings and deliver progress updates to the Principal Investigator.
With a salary ranging from £31,800 to £38,910 per annum, depending on experience, this is an attractive opportunity for those passionate about research nursing and diabetes care.
