Property Condition Specialist

MMP Consultancy is currently seeking a skilled Property Condition Specialist to join their housing association based in Wiltshire/Hampshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £48,065.00 per annum, plus benefits.

The successful candidate will conduct thorough property inspections, identifying damp and mould issues, building defects, and completing investigations to accurately diagnose and rectify faults.

This involves specifying works for our Dedicated Loans Officer (DLO) and managing contractors to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within a timely manner.

The Property Condition Specialist will produce high-quality condition reports for each property, which can be relied upon by our solicitors in court. They may also be required to appear as a witness in court if necessary.

This role entails supporting our Response Surveyors team by conducting comprehensive damp investigations in challenging properties, providing guidance and training to other team members, and handling complaints.

A strong working knowledge of Disrepair legislation, the Landlord Tenancy Act 1985, Homes for Habitation, and HHSRS assessments is essential for this position.

Key Requirements:

  2. Expertise in building pathology.
  3. Experience in damp investigations.
  4. Strong working knowledge of Disrepair legislation.
  5. Excellent customer care skills.

Salary: £48,065.00 per annum, plus benefits
